What Project Lazon is—and where it stops.
The short version: a customer-side Service Advisor that helps people and shops make a cleaner handshake without pretending to replace professional inspection, shop authority, or customer choice.
Common questions
Is Project Lazon a repair shop or diagnostic service?
No. Project Lazon organizes source material, supported facts, plain-language explanation, uncertainty, questions, readiness, and next actions. The shop inspects, diagnoses, estimates, requests authorization, and performs the work.
Can I use it if my shop is not part of Project Lazon?
Yes. The customer should be able to prepare and carry useful information to the shop they choose. A participating shop may support a deeper connected handoff, but participation is not required for the customer core.
Does Project Lazon send messages to my shop for me?
Not by default. Project Lazon is not meant to become a duplicate mandatory communication layer. You choose when and how to share. Any future approved delivery path must be explicit, attributable, auditable, and locked until authorized.
Can a shop use Project Lazon to explain a complicated recommendation?
That is an intended optional workflow. The shop can preserve its source wording, review a plain-language draft, and approve, edit, or reject the exact version. Unapproved wording cannot be presented as the shop's.
Does “Project Lazon Connected” mean the shop is recommended?
No. Connected means the exact location participates. It is not a quality score, endorsement, paid ranking, or guarantee of capability. Location-specific service claims still need current evidence or shop confirmation.
Does Project Lazon authorize repairs?
No. The customer authorizes or declines work directly with the shop through the shop's accepted process. A clear next action in Project Lazon is not repair authorization.
Does Project Lazon handle my repair payment?
No. Repair money remains between customer and shop. Project Lazon does not route the repair payment, deposit, financing, escrow, refund, or shop payout.
What kinds of rides are supported?
The platform is being built for Auto, Motorcycle, Powersports, Marine, RV/Trailer, and additional ownership categories where the same evidence, clarity, and service-handshake problem exists.
How can I help improve Project Lazon?
Project Lazon is free for customers and keeps improving through real use. Share feedback, support community priorities, or contribute voluntary financial support. Support does not buy access, ranking or recommendations. Customer and shop experience guides what needs improvement.
Can I delete my account or request a copy or correction of my data?
Signed-in customers can open Account & tools → Your data controls. They can download a current customer snapshot or submit a private request for a fuller copy, correction, account deletion, or review of a shop connection. Submitting a request records it for review; it does not falsely claim that deletion or disconnection happened immediately.
What is the difference between archiving a ride and removing a moment capture?
Archiving removes a ride from the active garage while preserving history and allowing restoration. Permanently removing an unattached moment capture deletes its private stored file and pending-capture record after confirmation.
Can support or a future subscription influence recommendations?
No. Voluntary support and future shop subscriptions cannot purchase placement, ranking, recommendation influence, endorsement, or preferential treatment.
